How reset oil light GMC Terrain

How do you reset maintenance light, reset service light indicator GMC Terrain. For reset maintenance light and that can be made manually by use button on car dash board.

Reset service light indicator, engine oil life GMC Terrain, oil reset instructions:

year 2010-2013

With Driver Information Centre (DIC):
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the MENU button until vehicle information menu is displayed then scroll through the menu with the down arrow until Remaining Oil Life is selected then press SET/CLR (check button) to select.
3. Use up or down arrow to select YES to reset.
4. Confirm reset by pressing SET/CLR button.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Without Driver Information Centre (DIC):
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
3. If the Change Engine Oil Soon message goes off the system is reset.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
