    Instructions on how to manually reset the warning signs that occur in your car dashboard

    TPMS RESET SEAT TOLEDO TYRE PRESSURE SENSOR LIGHT

    The purpose of the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) on SEAT Toledo is to alert you when tire pressure is too low and could to create unsafe driving conditions.

    If the light is illuminated, it means your tires could be underinflated, which can lead to undue tire wear and possible tire failure. It’s important to understand the importance of proper tire inflation, and how TPMS can help you maintain your tires.

    SEAT Toledo Reset The Tire Pressure Monitoring System Light (TPMS)

    TPMS RESET: SEAT TOLEDO TYRE PRESSURE SENSOR LIGHT (2005-2018)

    Each time adjusting tyre pressure or changing one or more wheels, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on SEAT Toledo:

    • Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine
    • Make sure your vehicle is in a safe place
    • Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard on the fuel tank flap
    • The cold tire is a tire that is not driven more than 3 hours
    • Switch on the ignition without starting the engine
    • If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal
    • Look for the TPMS SET button and then press it until you hear a chimes
    • The button is located on the centre console

    Follow the instructions below if your vehicle is equipped with a Infotainment display.

    • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
    • Switch on the ignition without starting the engine
    • If the Multimedia System is off, switch it on
    • Press the CAR button on the infotainment display
    • Select the vehicle SETTINGS menu by tap the touchscreen
    • Select TYRES
    • Select SET
    • When a confirmation message appears, select CONFIRM to execute the TPMS reset

    These instructions are based on the SEAT Toledo owner’s manual. This procedure should apply to the first generation of SEAT Toledo (2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 model years).
